SADAC Display day

WOW, what a day! The weather was as good as our Mid May Muster, I reckon they had nearly as many visitors as we had. The bonus was PURE JETS, so many I became quite blase' about them. A great day. 8 Bairnsdalians were present at my count.

Wednesday

Yesterday, we had a visit of 5 guys from Sale club, they had many planes to fly and much socialising to be done. The sky was overcast and breeze, slight, though COLD, but many enjoyable flights were had by all. Pictured, Barry from Sale with his Seb Art 'Shark' electric, in his skillful hands, the performance was awesome.

MID MAY MUSTER SUCCESS

The day dawned COLD with a cloudless sky and no wind. Preparation was fine tuned and pilots arrived, many from other clubs, with plenty of models.
Plenty of visitors from the public, must have been hundreds throughout the day. During lunch break 21 cars arrived after a display in Bairnsdales main street. Talking to some of the drivers, they were rapt and fascinated by the models and the flying.
This was a day to remember, the weather could not have been better, the canteen was in full flight also.
