July Christmas

About 21 attendees enjoyed "Christmas in July" on 21st July.
Sandra and Lorraine were the instigators and are to be congratulated on top organisation. I think everybody brought along something from a casserole
to hot nibblies.
Much conversation and mingling made for a most enjoyable evening.
The food contributions were excellent in their diverse variety and tasy flavours.

Here  are just a few photos of the happy crowd.

Mid May Muster

I had to give up trying to upload from the field yesterday.
Weather was as near perfect as it could possibly be.
There were 20 pilots registered with 36 models.
Here are some of my pix.

Saturday

The cold front is moving through here as I write and the wind forecast has been downgraded.
7deg. to 16deg Sunday.
The field is looking great, all is in readiness for tomorrow.
We all agree that tomorrow will be a great day.
I will update from the field first thing in the morning.

FORECAST

The forecast is now for a stiff breeze straight down the strip Sunday morning, easing a bit in the afternoon.
The bureau may be close in that regard, however Sunday will tell.
Weather otherwise will be pleasant and camaraderie will be present in large lumps, along with refreshments.
Hope to see you then.

Flying Camera

Sunday 15th April 2012.
Photos show our field outlined in white, with East-West runway in yellow and the South Westish- NorthEastish strip in red.
You can clearly see the Landfill adjacent on the North and way in the distance the western end of Bairnsdale.
The water hazard on the western boundary is all too evident.

The joint will be jumping on Sunday 20th May for the Muster.
